About
My name is David Montgomery
I am a licensed home inspector with knowledge and experience. Originally from Mississippi, where I was a home inspector, I am now providing my services to the people of Oklahoma. I worked for many years with a small construction company. I pride myself on providing my clients with the highest quality reports and inspections. I am married to Kathy Montgomery, a music teacher at Guymon Public Schools, and have four children. We attend First Baptist Church of Guymon, where I serve as a worship leader.
As the owner of White Oak Home Inspections, I offer inspections that cover all aspects of a home. I strive to provide a comprehensive report that will give customers the confidence they need to make an informed decision. Integrity and honesty are what I stand by.

What is a Home Inspection?
Foundation, Bassement & Crawlspace
Roof, Attic & Exterior
Plumbing, Heating & Cooling
Electrical & Interior
A home inspection is an examination of the condition and safety of a piece of real estate, often conducted when the home is being sold. A qualified home inspector will assess the heating and cooling system, and other plumbing, and electrical work, and look for any potential safety hazards. In addition, the home inspector may check for evidence of insect, water, fire damage, or any other issue that can affect the property's value.
KEY TAKEAWAYS
-
A home inspection visually examines all accessible areas of a property for safety and current condition.
-
A buyer typically arranges and pays for a home inspection and—depending on its findings—may choose to move on to closing, renegotiate the sale price, request repairs, or have a way out of the deal. Sellers may pay for an inspection to help the transaction move more efficiently.
-
A home inspection is not the same as a home appraisal, which is required and scheduled by a lender to determine the value of a property for which a buyer is seeking a mortgage.
-
Before buying a home, you should have it inspected. Waiving an inspection may be a risky decision and one that could prove costly later on. Contact us today to schedule your home inspection.
